Who is this series for? We're calling all yogis and non-yogis to practice finding ease and activating their energy. The Harmonetiks Yoga Series is designed to help everyone feel (really!) good. Please always check with your doctor before doing any exercise. It's always best practice and helpful to get advice from a qualified professional who knows your unique history.
When can I use this class series and, how long can I keep using it? You can use this class whenever is best for you! Once you've completed the series, you always have access to the course. All you need is an internet connection to log-in (on your computer, tv, phone or iPad) to practice discovering your energy.

About Jeff Zimmerman
The Harmonetiks method was founded by Dr. Jeffrey C. Zimmerman, a world-class double bass player turned Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Medical Qi Gong practitioner. After studying at the Juilliard School and earning his degrees from both the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music, "the world's greatest double bass player" and Jeff's teacher, Stuart Knussen, told him to become doctor. So what does one do when your mentor tells you to choose a different path? You do it. Jeff chose to pursue Chinese Medicine and studied in both the United States and in Beijing at the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has worked with extraordinary individuals to help them find harmony in their bodies and minds using his techniques, including Dr. Mehmet Oz, Charles Poliquin (an Olympic Coach), and Na'ill Diggs (Linebacker for the Carolina Panthers). After 30 years of study and working with hundreds of individuals, Jeff felt a need to take these techniques and make them tangible so everyone could achieve harmony in their own bodies without having to come see him directly for a session. Thus, the Harmonetiks method was born!
About Paula Gibson
Paula began her yoga practice to heal herself from a severe autoimmune disorder. At one point she was barely able to crawl, much less walk to her mat. The vitality, strength, and healing properties are what inspired Paula to become a teacher and share the knowledge she gained. Though well versed in many styles of yoga, including Hatha, Anusara, Bikram, Flow, Power, Yin, Shri Diva and Thai massage, she began studying Ashtanga ten years ago and become certified as an instructor in 2011. Most recently, Paula was assisting and being mentored by her dear friend, Stan Woodman, level two authorized KPYJOIS at Kaia Yoga. Paula teaches yoga with a mindset glean from the founder of Ashtanga yoga, "Yoga is for everybody, the only people who can't practice are lazy people." Paula's yoga practice and experience was taken to the next level when she started working with Jeff—his knowledge and experience of energy tied with her knowledge and experience of yoga has combined to bring out the effortless energy of yoga.
Paula Gibson was first exposed to meditation and yoga practices as a seven year-old, backstage, while working as a child actor on Broadway. Though life has taken many different roads, from film, commercials and stage (she is a member of SAG, AFTRA and EQUITY) to working as a global quantitative analyst on Wall Street, script editor, artist, mother and yogi, for Paula, yoga became her healing driving force. It’s unfathomable to imagine if you saw Paula now, to understand she started this yoga practice with a severe autoimmune disorder that crippled her to the point that she was barely able to crawl, much less walk to her mat. The vitality, strength and healing properties are what inspired Paula to teach and share the knowledge she gained.
Though well versed in many styles of yoga, including Hatha, Anusara, Bikram, Flow, Power, Yin, Shri Diva and Thai massage, she began studying Ashtanga yoga ten years ago, and became certified as an instructor in 2011. As in all aspects of life there is no such thing as true mastery, a curiosity and drive for knowledge has created a passionate obsession with continued education and training with enthusiasm. Most recently she was assisting and being mentored by her dear friend, Stan Woodman, level two authorized KPYJOIS at Kaia Yoga.
She has been fortunate to have practiced and learned from fabulous teachers on this journey. Paula spent five weeks in India at the Kpjayi institute with Sharath Jois as well as practiced with him on his numerous tours. Aliya Weise, Dominic Corigliano, Megan Riley, Val Schneiderman, and Mitchell Bleier have all been valuable instructors and friends. Paula continued to educate herself by immersing herself in adjustment clinics and multiple other workshops and clinics with David Swenson, Tim Feldman, Tim Miller, David Garrigues, John Friend, Beryl Bender Birch, and David Roche among others.
Though the physical practice does become a moving meditation, Paula has studied TM with Sri Ramaswami and Loren Roche and continues to practice daily.
Paula teaches yoga with a mindset gleaned from the founder of Ashtanga yoga, “Yoga is for everybody, the only people who can’t practice are lazy people.” She has taught and assisted at various yoga studios, children’s summer camps, private lessons for clients both fully able-bodied and with challenges such as cerebral palsy, Autism, ADHD, brain injury and recovery from various injuries. Paula has gleaned invaluable tools and loves sharing and exploring yoga for everyone. When Paula started working with Jeff, The knowledge and experience of the energy tied together what she was feeling in her practice but not able to completely express in simple, clear terms.
She is excited to work, learn and teach with Jeff as they have incorporated a melding of their work and knowledge to bring out the effortless energy of yoga that is already inside you and any yoga practice that you enjoy.
